Compliance is no longer optional

The law changed. Enforcement is already here.

Reforms to Mexico's Customs Law tightened the importer's obligations. The SAT verifies traceability, documentation, and origin in real time. Improvising today means fines, tax assessments, and detained goods.

Active SAT enforcement

Electronic audits and origin verifications that cross-check your pedimentos against the documentary reality of the operation.

Mandatory electronic file

Articles 36-A and 59 of the Customs Law require integrating and keeping a file for each operation. Without it, there is no defense.

Joint liability

The importer is liable for classification, valuation, or third-party errors. Responsibility is not delegated to the customs broker.

Fines and seizure of goods

A single inconsistency holds your cargo at the customs facility, drives up storage costs, and can end in precautionary seizure.

The platform

Your digital file, centralized and collaborative.

Importa México runs on iOrderSmart: the supply-chain project management hub with AI-powered collaboration. Every import lives in one place, with all stakeholders inside and the traceability the law requires.

Centralized digital file

Pedimentos, invoices, certificates of origin, NOMs, and permits, integrated and kept per operation, ready for an audit.

End-to-end traceability

From the supplier at origin to your warehouse: every milestone, document, and owner is recorded with date and evidence.

Multi-stakeholder collaboration

Supplier, customs broker, forwarder, and inspector work in the same project, in Spanish or English, with no email chains.

What importers look for

Built for those who can't fail at customs.

We used to assemble the file by hand, in a rush, on clearance day. Having everything integrated per operation takes away the fear of an audit.

Frequently asked questions

What every importer asks.

What is the electronic file and why is it mandatory?
It is the set of documents backing each import operation (invoices, pedimentos, certificates of origin, permits, NOMs, and more). Articles 36-A and 59 of the Customs Law require the importer to integrate and keep it. Without it, you cannot demonstrate compliance during a SAT review.
Does Importa México replace my customs broker?
No. Your customs broker remains essential for clearance. Importa México gives them a shared, traceable workspace: it centralizes documents, removes email chains, and helps you meet the responsibility that, by law, remains yours.
Can I really start for free?
Yes. The tools are free to start and require no credit card. You can register your company, analyze an operation, and try the AI skills at no initial cost.
Does the AI replace legal or customs advice?
The AI speeds up and organizes your compliance: it classifies, flags gaps, and drafts. It does not replace the judgment of your customs broker or legal advisor; it gives them better information to decide. Guides and analyses are for guidance.
Who is behind Importa México?
It is a project by Soluciones Integrales G1S, the Mexican branch of Global Integrated Solutions (GIS), a global Supply Chain Management integrator headquartered in Hong Kong with presence in China, Vietnam, Mexico, and Chile.
Is my information and are my documents secure?
Your documents live inside your project in iOrderSmart, with role-based access control. You decide which stakeholders (customs broker, supplier, forwarder) you invite to each operation.
